Herbal Medicine

Herbal Medicine is an ancient form of medical healing still practiced all over the world today.  It is a gentle and safe treatment, which utilizes a long traditional knowledge of herbs and their uses, together with the latest scientific research.

How does it work?

Over time, certain herbs have become known for their specific active healing ingredients, which work to stimulate the body’s own restorative powers.
A Medical Herbalist works holistically, offering patients custom-made medicine to support their own body’s healing powers. By consulting a Medical Herbalist, you are ensuring the most appropriate herbs are used to treat your condition effectively.

What can it treat?

A Medical Herbalist is able to deal with everyone from children to the elderly and with any health condition. Herbal Medicine is particularly beneficial to those with the following conditions:

  • Skin disorders, such as eczema and psoriasis

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Headaches, migraines

  • Asthma, hay fever
