Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils that have been extracted from plants to improve health and well being.

What does Aromatherapy do?

Aromatherapy can give relief to all sorts of problems, both physical and emotional.  It can be administered in the form of a massage, as room freshener, aromatic baths, inhalants, and pot pourri.

When used in massage, it can help to:

  • relax body and mind

  • reduce tension

  • improve the blood circulation

  • tone and strengthen the muscles

  • boost the natural detoxification process

  • overcome stress

  • soothe aches in muscles and joints

  • improve flexibility.

It also conditions your skin!

A course of treatment varies, according to the patient’s needs.  There are an ever-growing number of people who use this extremely safe and effective therapy, which balances, relaxes and harmonises the body and mind, and generally maintains a sense of well being.
Allow 1 – 1 ¼ hours for initial treatment.
